Pivot was a traditional lobbying initiative in partnership with the Homeless charity Centrepoint. 

Its objective was to change the benefit system to remove perverse disincentives. In particular:-

• The Poverty Trap - Where people who get work end up worse off than staying unemployed
  
• The Housing Block - Where large houses are blocked by subsidized tenants with lesser needs

Many of the benefit system changes occurring in 2012-2014 are consequences of the work we did in Pivot.
